In the year 1995 Mr. Angel Alberto Beltre Báez forms the company Mardi SRL in the Dominican Republic, to dedicate himself to the importation of alcoholic beverages. From then until 2000, the company was dedicated especially to the commercialization of spirits and whiskey. With the growth of our operations, the company ventures in the import, export and distillation of different alcoholic beverages.
Thus, Mardi SRL will be classified as a liquor store in June 2000, receiving license no. 49 according to the rules that govern the alcoholic beverage industry.
As the years have passed, the company has maintained its objective of consolidating itself in the national and international market of alcoholic beverages. Mardi SRL has achieved this by consistently satisfying the demands of its customers by offering a wide variety of products and distinguishing them for their quality.

The arrival of the Hispaniola brand liquors and rums, has as a precedent the signing of the commercial agreement between the prestigious Dominican company Mardi SRL, producer of the same, and its founder, Mr. Ángel Alberto Beltrè; and the US-Costa Rican company MBC Products S.A, and its founder, Mr. Kelly Kastelz, of great experience and experience in the production of liqueurs the first, and production and distillation of beers the second.
The commercial initiative began to take shape in 2013 and reached an important level of development in 2015 when high quality liquors such as Hispaniola Mamajuana, flavored herb liquor, of international prestige, as well as other members of the Hispaniola family such as Ron Blanco and Ron Gran Añejo, all awarded and laureated by instances such as the “Beverage tasting Institute” in the years 2008 and 2010. Of equal quality and renown are the Golden rum and rum to añejo.
The commercial alliance comprises different instances of import, production, distribution and export of these high quality liquors and rums, at an initial stage in Central American markets (Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Panama) to continue to consolidate its introduction in markets such as North America, Europe and Asia where they already enjoy great acceptance and popularity.
In Costa Rica, this process will be led by the company MBC products S. A, and pursues with this alliance for the marketing and production of the Hispaniola rums, a return to the culture and enjoyment of the good rums for the most demanding palates and the elaboration of Elegant and extravagant cocktails for creating a pleasant atmosphere of fun.
